This is one of my all-time favorite travel hair hacks.
Packing a microfiber hair towel takes up almost no space in your suitcase, but it makes a huge difference when it comes to reducing frizz and helping your hair dry faster while traveling. Hotel towels can be rough on your hair, especially after long flights, different climates and constant heat styling, and this is one of those small swaps that genuinely helps.
These oversized hair towels are made by Once Again Home using soft recycled microfiber material that works beautifully on all hair lengths and textures. They gently absorb moisture without the heavy rubbing that can lead to breakage and frizz, making them perfect for preserving blowouts, curls or healthy hair routines on the road.
I also love that they dry quickly between uses, so you’re not throwing a damp towel back into your hotel bathroom or suitcase and dealing with that awful mildew smell later.
Each towel is made using recycled materials, including the equivalent of three recycled plastic bottles, which makes them an easy eco-friendly upgrade too.
How to Use:
Start with the button end at your forehead, tuck your wet hair into the towel, twist it at the nape of your neck and secure the loop around the button. Then let it work while you finish getting ready.
